National Religious Freedom Day is observed on January 16 to promote the message of peace and acceptance. The day is to highlight the fact that everyone has a right to their own religious beliefs. People can go and worship in their churches, mosques, and even mandirs freely since it is their human right. Unfortunately, not all nations are liberal regarding religious differences and often resort to violence and force to snatch away others’ religious freedom. It is why National Religious Freedom Day was formed — to spread the message of peace, love, and acceptance. Live and let live!
