Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.

The office of DEI Education and Outreach hosts the UCCS PRIDE Celebration and organizes UCCS involvement with the Pikes Peak PRIDE Parade in June. This event celebrates the UCCS LGBTQ+ community and provides a space to create joy and connection for all. 

Pride Week will host a variety of educational and social events to recognize and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. The MOSAIC and LGBTQ+ Resource Center have partnered with on- and off-campus partners to provide opportunities for engagement and participation. This year's theme is "In Community, We Triumph" and it acknowledges the current anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and legislation that has negatively impacted the LGBTQ+ community, while centering how it is in community that we resist, we prosper, and we triumph!

Come out and enjoy a free night full of queens, kings, and fabulous things! Catered mocktails will be available throughout the night. Additionally, various LGBTQ+ organizations will table and be featured throughout the show. Hosted in partnership with Student Life for ROAR Daze. This event is free and open to all UCCS students, staff, and faculty.
