The Office of Training & Educational Development has created programs for the campus community that aim to foster a culture of belonging at UCCS. There are two monthly programs, and one semester program, all of which began in the Fall of 2023. Learn more about the Heritage Month Munch & Learn, Story Hours, and Spotlight Series.

Campus-Wide Signature Programs are annual programs that honor the diverse experiences of UCCS students, staff, and faculty hosted across the campus. 

In celebration of the histories and contributions of historically marginalized identities, UCCS commemorates heritage and identity months throughout the year. These recognitions are an opportunity for all members of the community to learn more about the traditions, people, scholarship, history, and current experiences of those who've overcome oppression to create opportunities for all. 

Departments across UCCS host programs to create a sense of belonging for the LGBTQ+ community at UCCS. Along with creating opportunities for education and growth for UCCS students, staff, and faculty. 

UCCS values staff and faculty development and their understanding of inclusive topics. Departments across the campus offer programs and events for staff and faculty to attend. 

Departments across UCCS hosts programs to create a sense of belonging for diverse students and create opportunities for our students to grow in their understanding of inclusive excellence. 

Across UCCS departments, colleges, and organizations plan and host a variety of events, programs, and trainings for UCCS students, faculty, staff, and the community. To support these programming efforts, the Office of Training & Educational Development has comprised resources focused in the areas of program planning, program marketing, budgets, and program assessment.
