Educational Development Programs
Monthly Programs
The Office of Training & Educational Development has developed educational programs for the campus community that aim to foster a culture of belonging at UCCS. There are three programs hosted monthly. Read more about them below, or follow the button below to visit our MLC page and register for individual events.
Heritage Month Munch & Learn
The Munch and Learn Series is focused on education and awareness centered around each heritage and identity month. Participants will learn from UCCS faculty members on the work they are doing that centers diverse identities and cultures. Participants will also be able to engage in discussion and enjoy themed food around the month’s topic.
Story Hour
The Heritage Month Story Hour events are designed for the preschool class at the Family Development Center on the UCCS campus. When the students come for a library visit, the Outreach & Instruction Librarian reads a children's book aligned with the heritage or identity month, and a student group plans a small activity.
